Makeup Lessons
Beauty by Chelsea Dae offers either one-on-one or group makeup lessons. During your makeup lesson, Chelsea will go through your current makeup collection, discuss what works and what doesn't, recommend new products, and teach you how to do your makeup step-by-step. Makeup lessons are available in-studio.
Going through your collection...
This makeup lesson would be pretty pointless if we used makeup from my collection, right? How would you then take all this knowledge and recreate the look at home? That is why I ask you to bring along your makeup collection! I will ask you to go through your full collection and take me through your routine in detail. What do you use? How do you use it? Why do you use it? I want to know your thought process. We will then discuss what I think works and what doesn't. Maybe you are using a brush the wrong way or your foundation color is not a great match. If I think something doesn't work, or you are missing an important piece from your collection, this is when I will break out my professional kit to fill the gaps.
Teaching you the look step-by-step...
The next step, and most important one, is going through your new makeup routine step-by-step. Whether you are looking for an everyday makeup look that you can wear to work, a glam makeup look that you can wear on a date night, or a look that you can easily transition from day-to-night, I will show you how to create it! Step-by-step, I will work on one side of your face, and then you will copy my work on the other side. I feel this is the best way to really understand what it is I am doing, how I am holding brushes, how I am blending products, and more. I think this is also the best way to assure that you can recreate this look each day going forward.
Recommending products...
Once we have completed the desired makeup look, I will create a shopping list with you! Whether or not you decide to take advantage of my personal shopping services, I will arm you with a list of products that would really improve your daily makeup routine. As a self-titled makeup addict, I can tell you I have tested out more than enough makeup products to be able to guide you in your shopping adventures.
