Q: How do I book Beauty by Chelsea Dae for my wedding?

A: First and foremost, congratulations on your engagement! I am so happy that you are considering Beauty by Chelsea Dae to add some glam to your special day. To start the booking process, please click here and fill out the form! Once you complete the form, keep an eye out for an email from me! Once we confirm your details, I will send over a customized quote for your wedding day. If you are happy with your quote, and would like to move forward with booking, I will send you an invoice and a contract. Once you make your deposit, fill out and sign your contract, you are booked! From there, we can schedule your makeup design appointment and create a day-of-schedule for your wedding day! Easy-peasy! 

Dates are not held without a signed contract and paid initial deposit (retainer).

Q: Do you offer trials?

A: Yes, but here at Beauty by Chelsea Dae, we call them Makeup Design Appointments. Your Makeup Design Appointment, which would ideally take place one to two months before your wedding, is extremely important, as it helps us both to determine what you would like for your special day. During your appointment, we will discuss your likes, dislikes, preferences, style, and more. I will create a look that I feel meets your wants and needs, and adjust as we see fit. I also take detailed notes throughout your appointment so that we achieve the exact same look on the day of your event. In terms of pricing, I will include the cost of a Makeup Design Appointment in your customized quote.

Q: How much do you charge for special event makeup application?

A: One-time makeup applications start at $55.00! This price applies to makeup for holidays, proms, homecomings, and date nights. To book your special event makeup, please click here!

Q: Can you travel to me?

A: Yes! Though I do offer in-studio sessions for makeup, eyelash extensions, and waxing, I am also an on-location makeup artist, so I will travel to you! I travel to any city in Connecticut and will travel to surrounding states on a case-by-case basis. For locations over 15 miles from my starting point, I do charge a travel fee of $0.50/mile, which will be included in your quote. 

Q: Do you offer airbrush makeup?

A: Yes I do! I am certified in Airbrush Makeup Artistry through TEMPTU, a top brand in the industry. Airbrush Makeup is the best option for long-lasting, flawless makeup. Temptu's Hydra Lock Airbrush Foundation will last through all the dancing, crying, and cake-smashing! 

Q: Do you offer traditional makeup?

A: Yes! I am certified in Makeup Artistry and I have been a traditional makeup artist for over five years!
